The ten most innovative companies in Brazil have in common long-term investments in this area and the treatment of the topic as a strategic pillar. O Valor Innovation Brazil 2023 ranking, based on research carried out in partnership with Strategy&, a PwC strategic consultancy, puts the SusanO, Followed by Petrobras, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, Embraer, WEG, Natura Cosmetics, OK, Boticário Group, Free market and CNH Digital. The first place went from 14th place last year to the top of the ranking, also gaining leadership in the paper and cellulose sector.
Innovation and corporate reputation are interconnected issues, as investments in research and development and digital transformation improve the perception of an organization both from the point of view of the quality of products and services and customer relationships. The methodology of the Valor Inovação Brasil yearbook, with the 150 companies highlighted, brings together criteria capable of measuring companies' constant investment in research, development and innovation activities. The ninth edition of the survey monitored the performance and discipline of companies to identify the most innovative in the country. The objective of the yearbook is to measure the capacity for innovation, evaluating skills such as creativity, the ability to generate knowledge and the strategic application of new technologies.
The questionnaire allows companies from different sectors to participate, detailing their initiatives and bringing quality and diversity to the sample. In this edition, 280 companies signed up for the survey, of which 253 were eligible. That year, around a thousand cases were analyzed. The projects presented generated intellectual property assets, such as patents, demonstrating the orientation to generate value from knowledge.
