Among the 100 innovative people in Latin America in 2023, 45 are Brazilians who have stood out in their line of activity, according to a list from Bloomberg Línea. Innovation is one of the key factors for the development of organizations and countries, a central element in the journey of building the reputation of companies and leaders.
Names such as the president of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos Neto, president of the Central Bank, Daniel Randon, president of RandoncorP, Harry Schmelzer Jr., CEO of Weg, and Artur Grynbaum, vice-president of Boticário, are part of the group. Also on the list are Brazilians with relevant experience in technology areas and/or companies, such as Hugo Barra, ex-Google and currently president of Detect, and Leandro Balbinot (Whole Foods), among others.
According to the publication, the selection, released this Tuesday (12/12), covers 18 other countries in Latin America, highlighting people who have demonstrated the ability to overcome adverse situations and established conventions. Using the methodology led by the editorial team, the choice is based on prominent and successful names proven in innovation. They are executives, startup founders and entrepreneurs, among others, who work in the financial, technology, industry, advertising, science, sustainability and diversity sectors.
